Texas hold'em rules are easy to learn, and once you know the game, you'll have a blast playing. Here's how Texas hold'em rules work.
- Each player is dealt 2 private cards, or ?pocket cards?
- A round of betting takes place, and then three cards are dealt in the middle of the table. These cards, known as the ?flop?, are shared cards or community cards that everyone at the table can use as a part of their hand
- After the flop, a 2nd round of betting takes place, and then another common card, the turn card, is dealt.
- Following a 3rd betting round, the 5th shared card, known as the river card, is dealt
- At this point, there's a fourth and final round of betting, and then those players who are still in the game show their cards. The best five-card poker hand out of the seven cards available between each player's hand and the board is the winner.
