Five card draw rules are simple and straightforward. Here's how the game works, online or off:
- Each player (up to 8 players at a time) gets five cards
- One round of betting happens
- All players who remain in the game can improve their hands by drawing up to 5 new cards (and replacing those already in their hand)
- A second round of betting takes place after the "draw"
- The showdown happens and the best poker hand wins
